I’m in the very early stages of thinking about which bike to buy. Currently riding a Triumph Tiger Rally Pro. I’ve had it 3 years and have put just over 18000 miles on it. All solo riding as my wife no longer goes on the back.
I’ve toured Scotland 3 times, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, French Alps 3 times, Norway and many other areas of France on it and it’s a pretty good bike for my type of touring. I’ve ridden off road a bit mostly Dales tracks but many kms of dirt, gravel roads in Norway and the Col de Sommelier.
I’m considering the F900GSA. It’s not going to be doing hard off road as I have my old DR 650 for that so the questions are. Who has one? What do they like, dislike about it? Is it comfortable for longish 500-600 mile days? Is it capable of a bit of light off road riding? If anyone has the low seat fitted what’s that like? The Triumph servicing costs are expensive so whats the BMW like servicing costs wise?
Not interested in those telling me to buy the Voge 900 as it’s the same bike for less money or buy the CF Moto etc. just first hand ownership thoughts, opinions on the F900 GSA. Thanks in advance.
