throttle body balancing

Is this right, warm the bike up, set the balance at idle with the big brass screws, I've done that, rev the bike to 3000 then set the balance on the throttle cable's? I've heard conflicting tales that you don't need to do this others say you do? Can somebody confirm for me.
Probabley the first daft question of the night.

That's just about it, although I balance mine at 4krpm, it's best to set the valve clearance first (cold)

That's great that, wasn't too sure, borrowed a set of davida vacuum gauges off Fid so getting it right before I hand em back.

Does he still have a GS these days or only a matt black Hayabusa for 'just nipping off to a party in Germany' on?

He still had the 1150 gs with over 80000 miles, runs great, still has the hayabusa bloody fast that, have to admitt always looked up to Fid painting everything Matt black!

I remember leaving the Davida workshop years ago, him on a matt black Exup me on an old Trident, follow me he said as wheelied through the tunnel

That's Fid all over, he still has the exup, been with him that many times he's bit nuts at times, don't think he understands the speed limits, do you remember his number plates? I'm the same style.......
Funny enough my gs is satin black aswell.......

Are you on Fid list of places to visit in north Wales? Might of met you, really miss mad days out with Fid, breaking every road law, speeding 99% of time.......

His GS number plates were sprayed with chain lube then coated in mud with the odd toffee wrapper stuck to them

I've moved out of north Wales proper, but he used to come when I had a farm house on Anglesey and he going to Llanberis to see a lady.

guess he still wears lyra leggings, fluffy black jacket, big boots, Davida piss pot and carry a handbag whilst riding at 160mph

He used to come up to my mates near Bala years ago for wild parties so may met you there.......or at one of his do's where the highlight was a troop of scouse belly dancers.

I know the place, past bala, turn left after 20 mins your there, fella used to ride a guzzi, house has no mains water electric or gas? Been there!!
