2003 twin spark 1150GS
Last time the bike was serviced by a dealer, the idle was too fast at about 1200 -1300 rpm. This was the 12000 mile one.
Not really bothered by this. 1500 miles ago ( 24,000 service) I adjusted the valve clearances, revs were the same. new air filter, all plugs.
Today I noticed it's idling at 1500, I thought I'd look at the throttle body screws. (big brass things, just to let you know what I touched) I screwed these lightly home, noted how many turns on each. Just thought I'd try to slow the idle, screw them both in, doesn't make much difference. I was thinking that if they were screwed all the way down, the bike would stall, but it doesn't.
Any thoughts as to what's going on?
