Throttle lock

I used the cheap plastic one in the past and it worked really well.

I used something similar to this on my R1150 - just uses friction to grip the throttle and rest on the brake lever. I never set it tight enough to stop the throttle being rotated. I just wanted to be able to get a short period to stretch my finger 15 years ago when early signs of arthritis emerged. Now, with the condition advanced, I have only bought bikes since 2016 that come with cruise control.

I asked the same question not so long ago (same bike):

A member of the forum offered me his unused version of what Robbi has posted above (a copy of the legit product which is £100+).

It was a bit of a faff to fit, but it does a pretty good job once fitted - handy if you want a bit of hand relief (of the biking kind).

I also got one of these which really helps with lessen the strain on your throttle hand/wrist - you'll need the 32-36 mmm version

I use a Chinese copy of the kaeko one seems to work ok.might try the other one shown in the picture tried the wrist rocker type but having grip puppies fitted it was too narrow .
