Throttle position sensor calibration at dealer or gs911 ?

Replaced sensor 6k miles ago. The Haynes said take it to the dealer afterwards, I didn't seems ok but if there is a benefit in getting it hooked up to the bnw computer I will get it Done, or if the gs911 can do it I will ask at next service

Just curious as to what happens

You can do this without anything. Disconnect the battery for a bit then reconnect. Switch ignition on but do not start. Open throttle fully and slowly 3 times. Switch ignition off and back on, start as normal. It's called a TPS reset and usually needs done every time you disconnect the battery.

The ECU does the learning so disconnecting battery should be fine. @ComberJohn will know for sure.

If you've ridden 6K miles since you replaced the TPS, the BMSK has figured it out. Therefore, there's nothing you need to do.

If you use the GS-911 to reset all adaptations, then the BMSK will have to relearn its adaptations for the AF-XIED.
