throttle rest - anyone used one of these - any good?

I'm confused by the idea that Throttle Rockers are difficult to use... I've used one for years on any of my bikes that I ride and can do everything form a mad, bad blast to a boring long stint on the motorway to filtering traffic at nanospeed... They are easy to get used to if you try and the wonder is, the throttle still closes on it's own... I have tried throttle friction things and pukka cruise control and this is more user friendly and a good halfway house for the cost of less than a tenner...
