I bought a 3/8" drive torque wrench from the Halfords professional range in 2003. It's had a reasonably easy life over the years, but when I used it recently the ratchet kept failing, although it worked OK otherwise. I thought I was going to have to shell out for a new one. Took it in to the local Halfords branch where a nice man told me that the wrenches have a lifetime guarantee and promptly gave me a brand new one, saving me £75. :thumb2 :thumb2

I'm forever taking back broken 3/8" torx bits which they replace without even having to show the receipt. Can't complain.
