Tibbie Shields.

Hi, looking for a bit of help.
We have a bit of a family gathering at the Tibbie Shields pub and campsite on St Maries loch
every May bank holiday/half term.
Been doing it for years, however this year I'm not getting any joy trying to book.
Website just saying that the pub is currently closed, phone and emails are not being answered.
So was wondering if anybody from the area might know what is going on with the place?

Just tried the cafe, still non the wiser.
they also don't know what is going on.
So still after some local info.

Illness, bereavement, divorce, financial difficulties....? It could be down to a number of things.

Hope it's nothing serious. Got to know Alistair over the years and quite like the guy.
Talented musician aswell.
While it's not the best campsite in the world, the location for the canoes and dinghys is superb.
Would hate not to go but getting near to the time we will have look at booking somewhere else due to the size of our party.

Turns out he has shut the campsite and pub.
Still renting out the rooms and caravan.
He had a lot of trouble with scrotes last summer causing trouble
and decided that it was not worth the hassle.
So once again a few knob heads have spoilt a once cracking place to camp
Arse!!
