I think in all honesty you are going to seriously struggle to sell this at such short notice.
I hope your accident wasn’t too serious and you’re not hospitalised.
Ive always found the ABR team to be reasonably accommodating when it comes to problem solving, what I would do is send them a brief email stating what has happened along with any supporting evidence, hospital discharge papers, documentation from the paramedics etc and ask the good folk at the ABR to roll your ticket over to next year. Just a suggestion, but it’s worth a stab.
