s'funny, I had a test ride on a new Tiger as well, loved the engine but not the plasticy bodywork either. It was late back from a previous test ride and while i was waiting i saw an F800GS for sale, I was actually more interested in that because, TBH, I had never seen one befoe.

2 weeks later I put my deposit down on a new GS (at abother dealer)!

Just waiting for it to arrive now !

Im surprised that a rider who doesn,t like plasticky controls,or plasticky bodywork,purchased a bmw f 800 gs which is all plasticky body work,and fuel tank,and theres more plastic on bmw switch gear than any other make.

Thin cheap looking plastic on the Tiger, no so on the GS.
