Chris likes it , apart top heavy at low speed and woolly throttle connection .

My 800 was top heavy, noticeable at low speed and when pushing it around in car parks and the garage. I’ve usually found fuelling on Triumphs to be good, and much better than many manufacturers with much more money to throw at the problem.

My Rally Pro certainly doesn’t feel top heavy after my Super Tenere and R1200GS.
It’s 63kg lighter than the S10 and that is definitely noticeable when shoving it around the garage or a car park etc.
slightly down on BHP over them but so much lighter. The power to weight ratio means I don’t notice it. Now my wife no longer rides pillion the smaller, lighter bike makes a lot of sense.
I rode the BMW 850GS for a week a couple of years ago in Sardinia but it just seemed a bit bland, very capable but bland.

Nice review that I trust and makes me think about updating my Rally Pro (2020 model). I'd love something slightly more off-road focussed but really not that keen on the 890R. After a nice 400 odd mile ride yesterday to do some lanes in Wales I think I've convinced myself I should get another Tiger.

Slight issue is the cost to change for a 15.5K bike (with 1K of add ons) the cost to change will be about £9k due to the mileage on mine which would get me a 701/690 .
