Coming up to the end of our holiday year at work so I had to take three days off....no problem I thought, good excuse to get to know the new Adventure. Checks weather this morning, looks like sh1te! Today's the best day....no problem I thought, lets go to the Dales.
Man was it bleak up through Skipton > Kettlewell > Hawes! Thick fog, rain, mud all over the roads and a broken R/H/S heated grip (L/H/S like toast btw). Fog eventually cleared near Hawes, great blat down from Hawes to A1 than tanked it down the A1 home with the ipod blaring.
Man, that bike is fun though. Coped brilliantly, even when attempting a little wheelie over a hump back bridge and all I succeeded in doing was spinning up the rear on the mud and squirming it all over the place. Glad nobody was watching.
Note to self - save "buckshee" holidays days for later in the year...

Glad you enjoyed yourself despite the crap weather .Note to myself not to moan when weather bad ,retired so can go any day!!
