Time on my hands.

Did a bit of site seeing and then headed back to Chamonix. Met up with some Italian Feds for going a tad to fast. Chatted with them, showed them my international disco card, IRL sticker, and gave them some tie/pin badges and we all smiled. The road up to the Mount Blanc tunnel was out of this world. Hardly any traffic and was dry. These boys can build roads through anything. Spent saturday nite sampling the local ale and pizzas. Got up at 7am, on the road at 8am and up the auto route home. Weather fanastic and bimbled up to Calais where i dropped the bike (diesel) outside the town hall. It lay on the road dying, me nearly crying. I couldn't even think of lifting it up. Cars passed and along came three scooter dudes who stopped and without asking, picked it up. Drinks all round (no damage). Wish i had taken pics but last thing on my mind. Next morning on the channel tunnel

and then onto the M20/M25 in wet zero visability. Up to penrith, nice and dry and then it really rained all t he way to the ferry. Got into Stranraer and the Starfish for an all day Ulster fry. Got on board for a few ZZZZZZZZZs and at 11pm got home.

I loved every moment of the trip, especially meeting up with Dominic. Great lad. The people I met, and the scenery. Every bend was another view.

Seeing this lad for the first time since Christmas was great and having quality time. You couldn't ask for more.
