Timing belt cover corrosion

I know its been mentioned several times before but mine seemed fine until recently.Now the cover has suddenly started to blister quite badly and although as yet none of the paint has come off I suspect it wont be too long. Anyway what I need to know is ...
Can anyone suggest a decent heat resistant paint that will sort it..
or...
Can someone tell me what it will cost to buy a new cover from the stealers.
If anyone knows the part number that would help as well.

Thanks for the tips on repainting. Would still like to know how much a new cover would be though if anyone has bought one recently

My plan for the alternator cover when finally corroded again post warranty will be to pay BMW to fit another and keep the old cover. That gives me a further two years warranty on the cover and a spare cover to paint with proper stuff
