Just poked the bloody thing straight through the hole!:blast

Thought I'd be clever and do my own valve clearances which actually seemed to go ok.

Right up until that little fecker of a plug.

So, what will happen if I ride it? Risks of damage etc. Obvioulsly I need to get a new plug but also need some advice on how to get that plug back on.

Og well. Live and learn I guess.

phaaark it!;)

Been there got the t shirt and asked same question over a year ago :o
12,000 miles on clutch and all parts working fine and i suppose when i renew the clutch it will be sat at the bottom waiting for me .:D
If you do a search someone on here did a nifty idea threaded a small zip clip through the grommet so you have a little handle:thumb simple eh

many thanks folks

Been a crap run of luck over the last few weeks so was expecting the worst.

Happy to be wrong!

Not normally so slack I wouldn't search first but was having a bit of a panic before I headed out last night. Like all good automotive glitches it has occurred 3 days before a week long ride!

Anyway, duct tape "mod" for now to be followed by new bung with looped cable mod.................to be followed by learning alternative TDC discovery methods!

Cheers all.:beerjug:
