What a weekend :thumb

Fun was had by all and some of the best trailriding I've done for ages

Started off in the pub on Friday night, with a civilised meal and a few beers (not too many as we wanted to be bright eyed and bushytailed for Sat main event - Tim even arranged transport to and from pub :thumb )

Thanks to Tim and Tina........... for the route, the hospitality and food/beds, the scenery and the weather................and to all the other GS'ers present for the fun and the memories :clap :bow :clap :thumb

It was a great day. Thanks for letting me have a ride on your bike, it must be the perfect BMW off roader :clap

Too many oilers gate-crashing the party - should have told them to ferk off - look at all the problems they caused ya :nono

Hayden - what's he riding? It's :ymca 'er than his jacket!! :D

JB on his arse :clap :clap :clap Kenny must've caught sight of them trews and the glare of the sun - fatal :D

Tims Cock

Yeap, Thanks Tim and Tina.............
Brilliant day out with great trails. Will post some pic's shortly, we must do another :D
Glad Kenny survived and assume Forry limped home.
Johnny Boxer chost the wrong place (or did he :D ) to let me have a ride on his bike
Next time we need more airheads.....................and Tina just floated round, brilliant stuff.

Great to have your Company freddie.
We'll definately do another if people are up for it (Iknow Kenny can't wait ;) )

I used my tyre plugger on Forry's tyre and it seemed to be a permanent repair :)

We ate all the banana loaf and washed it down with beer saturday evening, thanks to Sue for that :thumb

And yes, even Tina is getting tired of being woken by my cock at that hour :D

Looks like you had fun..

Great photos.. funny looking airhead Forry.. :D

Looks like you avoided the thunderstorm I rode out in, on sat..lovely weather when I got to Bethgelert..looks like you had the same..

Agreed Tim...............definitely one of the best GS offroaders and would be up there with modern tackle, in the right hands

The bike handles well, tracks straight and has excellent suspension, all in a package that has just the right amount of power with plenty of low down grunt and a healthy topend

The retro HP2

I'd have to admit Johnny, from what I've seen, and the little ride I had, that for pure off road work it beats the HP2 hands down.

Just a shame about the tarmac bits in between :)

Cheers Paul...........

Got the Toyota Van for long expanses of tarmac :D :D

Seriously it's ok for backroads work and short bursts of A road, motorways would be a pain

Offroad........ the bike is seriously flattering to ride, for my limited ability on a big bike

I WANT ONE!! .......

But really enjoyed my own bike which is not too bad for road use as well :thumb so' I'll have to make do and save myself several thousand pounds :D

You bike went well too, Tim
Nice and smooth...............nice engine and gearbox

Anyway it's the rider and not the bike..................just some good bikes make the average rider look better than they should be............definitely in my case, as i'm only a 'joe average' on the trail or the road

Looks like you had a great time chaps... :thumb If i hadn't of been in Spain i would have been there... :bow... I will be up for it next time....Mind you was doing a few testing trails myself...Gps says nearly 8000 feet and it was keen  ..Will post a report soon

Looks like the last 7yrs has aged some people quite a lot, looked like fun:thumby:

I opened this thread not looking at the date and thought... that airheads like mine but in much better nick!

That will soon be rectified though as it currently sits in Mike Overy's workshop having a mid life make over.
