Hi,
My son was planning to visit the Man TT next week, but injured himself last week during a football match. Tough luck but trip had to be cancelled.
As a loving father I sacrificed myself by offering to go on a roadtrip with him after the summer, second half of September seems most fitting.
I always loved to do the NC500, might be a bit ambitious for a week but still. My son is leaning towards Wales and/or Lake District. I think I know the Lake District gets the most rain of the UK, so going there in September might not be the best idea. Although I doubt the Highlands will be much better in that regards.
As he is traveling with a Ducati Monster, we're on-road only, and (coming from the Flatlands) typically the more hills the better.
Any suggestions coming from the collective wisdom of this forum would be welcome!
