Tire pressure control retrofit

I bought and installed control unit and sensors for tyres to fit TPC in my 08 GSA. I asked my dealer to activate it and he replied that its not possible because my bike didnt have it factory build and BMW will not send the activation code becouse of that. Do you have any solution for this? My dealer sucks. There is only one BMW dealer in Czech Republic, and I dont know whether its true or they just wont bother with me.

Ask yourself the question: Do you really need it???

I do know that it's not the easiest thing to retro fit parts to modern vehicles which should have been factory fitted. It's all to do with reprogramming the computor and canbus systems so I've been told.

Live without it and put the money in the fuel tank

I have allready purchased the parts, all original BMW. There is no need to reprogram anything. I need the code to activate it via the BMW diagnostic tool. Which they claim they cant get from BMW. Computer shows the RDC but no readout and sensors broadcast the signal (tested with original BMW car TPC tester). I just need to pair the unit with the sensors.

Did the bike come with the full on board computer or just the standard information display? I believe the Tyre Pressure Sensors need the full computer which might be why the dealer cannot enable the function.

And the On Board Computer is not a retrofit part as it also adds in the oil sensors etc so is too much work outside the factory.

It has a computer. Bike is allmost fully loaded except TPC which I want to add now. I have the reading on display it shows ---- ---- RDCp and yellow triangle as well as little icon for tirepressure. I just need to pair it together.
