TK80s-Pack of three

How many miles have you put on them Nin?

Generally it is accepted that a front will do 7k-ish and a rear 3.5kish therefore the reason why you have a 3 deal from Vern.

If you a eating up tourances, I suggest that you relax your right hand a little or move to a more road oriented tyre, such as a Bridgestone.

I like TKCs alot for offroad / fireroads but I was eating them up on the tarmac in the states.

HTH, Nick.

PS Bump for a good deal.

ferk - I must be even more of a jessie than MMC - I've got 5 to 6k already from the rear. Mind you it's nearly as bald as me now :D

Come on you lot get yer orders in quick - I need these tyres - you wouldnt want me flat on me arse on your conscience would you (no Tim, no answer required from you ta :redbone )

pah

Yep, they really handle well on the road. Well enough, in fact, to scrape footpegs two up on the Tizzi 'n Tess pass in Morocco chasing Mr. Ifan who was also on TKC's.:bounce1

I find them more confidence inspiring than Tourances. In the wet they'll let go earlier than Tourances but you'll know they are going to go and it will be very progressive. Plenty of time to get it back (normally :D ) :thumb2

you need a decent rear shock on that thing, you scraped the pegs 'cos when you're two up on a standard shock the pegs are only 2" off the ground:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

you know I don't mean it:hug

Vern,

I'm interetsed if you do manage to negotiate a discount. However, I can get the same deal for £195 through Busters-Accessories including delivery to my front door.

Whilst I'm sure the chocky bickies are fab and the sights of Worcester are breathtaking ( ), it doesn't quite add up without the discount.

Yep,you're quite right. If more people don't get on the list, then it's a waste of time me getting the tyres in the first place.Busters might have old stock they're clearing,or they don't know about the new prices.Could be a million and one reasons, but they're selling a feck of a lot of tyres to get that price I know.

We'll see what happens over the weekend:thumb2

Can you also write your site name on the cheque as well.

I'll bank all the cheques next Wednesday,so if I haven't got your cheque then,it's tough tits.

I'm guessing you're on a 1200;) ,
The TKC80s last around 19k miles and are great on the road, in fact I've even seen riders scraping their elbows in the ice:eek: :thumb

I can confirm that you can scrape your elbow with these on , on ice I hit some black ice with these on the bike slid further i did so i guess i had more grip then the bike did , great off road but not for me ever again

tkc's

Hi vern could do with one of your "pack of three rubbers", or am i too late. If so can post a chq tomorrow. Also do you need them shifted straight away, can pick up on bike no problem but am sometimes in your neck of the woods in me van just a thought, buckles.

That's one of their safety features to keep you and the bike separate in a spill;)

Greasy roads don't suit TKCs either as I'm sure Wizard will testify:(

BTW I've sent my cheque let us know when to pick them up:thumb

Vern,

Cheque posted today and it shouldn't bounce.

Please don't burn my house down if it does! :augie
