Today a Ghost saved my PC

I tried to reload Windows on my PC but I found myself with a bunch of drivers missing so I couldn't connect to the internet. Although I had backed up the Drivers folder I coudn't find the ones I needed on the backup. Mesh are sending me a full set of drivers but in the meantime I wouldn't have a PC.

Luckily, on Cookie's recommendation I had partioned the system using Partition Magic before the reload and had also loaded Norton Ghost and bloody 'ell ....... I recovered the whole system to before the reload in about 20 minutes. Amazing piece of software. Just wish I'd had it before my PC started to play up.

Ghost is one of the best bits of software that I have

It takes AGES to reload stuff and Ghost will get you running again fast

Better still if you can add a second slave hard drive and regularly save several ghost imags onto that. Protects you from hard drive failure, which partitioning doesn't, but does not protect you from theft
