tom tom 720 map type help

looking to buy one of these and the chap selling says he thinks theres only uk maps on it

on the info theres a product number

been looking on tomtom to see if can put this number in to see if it tells me but cant find owt

as long as the gps is working pop along to gps underground and download the newest maps for free.
