Hello All,
I have a tom tom 940 live and have just bought a Caberg just speak kit for my Konda helmet, My I phone can pair with the comms kit(although the volume is quite low, even when i have the phone volume as loud as it will go,might just be going deaf ;0) ) When i try to pair the comms kit with the sat nav it recognises it, ie, has found T-HSAI, but after trying to connect it the sat nav screen just keeps saying "the required features could not be found for this phone"
Any ideas???:nenau

Wrong type of Bluetooth connection.

This model Tom Tom can act as an handsfree kit for a phone, so no good for transmitting Bluetooth instructions to your helmet.

Are there ANY sat navs that will communicate with the Caberg Just Speak???:hide

Not many have bluetooth transmitters except proper bike ones.

Cheapest way is probably to get a satnav with a 3.5mm headphone socket and bluetooth transmitter from ebay.

Or get a Nokia phone with built-in GPS, the 5230 is good for this and was about £80. Free mapping on all nokias with built-in GPS.

C5-03 should do what you want but is a bit more expensive http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mo...c=phoneFinder&tariffNetworks=&clearance=false

Have a pay and go sim and the credit will last ages, the maps are installed on the phone so no data charges once you have downloaded your region. You can even plan routes on a pc then sync your phone to get the routes on the phone, or do the usual satnav type searches on the phone.

It will also make a good mp3 player and you can give the phone number to loved ones for emergency contact.

+1 for this :thumb

I have the JustSpeak system and use it very succesfully with my Nokia E72 for playing MP3s, phone and sat nav. The Nokia sat nav is a bit basic - nothing like as good as TomTom or Garmin and creating routes with waypoints is a pain - but it's fine if you actually have a destination in mind rather than a route - or if, like me, you tend to set off for a "wander" and then need to know how to get home again!

Another big plus is that if you pick a Nokia with voice dialling you can make calls handsfree too.
