Tom tom Canbus wired, Comes on but wont auto power off?

On my last nav unit once the ignition was off the unit would auto power down.......tomtom rider 2 comes on with the ignition but wont power itself off other than by the button on the side.

Should it?

Canbus keeps the circuit alive for 10 mins, I believe?

Ok cheers, thought with the zumo 550 it shut off virtually straight away, will give the tomtom unit longer to power itself down.

My new Rider V5 powers down every time you switch the ignition off, not what I want if only going in for petrol. Adjusted in preferences to suit.....

Found a setting, battery preferences. Sorted.
