Hi
I was lucky enough
to pursuade my work to get me a sat nav system for the car, a Tom Tom Go 500. I have used it a couple of times on the GSA by putting it in the top of of a tank bag and although you cannot hear the voice directions it is good enough to get you to where you want to go.
Looking on the Ram Mount website they do a fixing bracket for the TT Go units now and I was wondering if any one has used one yet. My comcern would be how securly the sat nav unit is attached as I would not want to see £400+ of kit go bouncing down the road
Obviously when it rains you would still need to put it back in the tank bag as it is not a water proof unit.
Appreciate anyone views on this as I am too tight to buy a second sat nav system just for the bike
