Hi,TheJoker said:I've also been eagerly following the non-appearance of the TomTom RIDER. I think they're starting to take the p!55 now. There's 8 days left of Q3 (which in itself is 92 days) and nobody knows when it's going to be on the shelves.
I'm currently running an eTrex Legend C, and whilst I'm very happy with the actual unit, I'm deeply disappointed in Garmin for supplying such a basic basemap (A5 through Milton Keynes isn't on it!) and asking for between £150 to £200 for "proper mapping" - that puts the £250 (ish) GPS up to £400 which is way more than a Quest is.![]()

Therefore I'm eyeballing the Quest, or the Rider (don't want a 26??-series as they don't have built in battery). I'd like the Rider because of the accessories that comes with it, and I think the Bluetooth connection to the mobile is quite a cool feature. I also like the fact that it's Linux Powered.
However, the Quest is available in "any" store, and is probably going to be much cheaper....
TomTom is losing points every minute...
I beleive they are now available.. a mate in the office is expecting delivery tomorrow.
I will try and find out where he purchased it and let you all know.
