We both enjoyed it / his attention span in museums can be quite short / but it held his attention for a good couple of hours

Tough day today - 35 degrees and a fair amount of traffic / finding the heat tough going so days are short - about 120 miles b4 knackered

Half way point tomorrow time wise / so will follow the B500 to Baden Baden b4 turning left towards Calais

If you're still in that area get yourselves up the 'grand ballon'which is northwest of Mulhouse. It's a cracking ride up the mountain and well worth doing before heading into Germany and the black forest. If you're doing the b500 schwarzwaldhochstrasse (Black Forest high street) it's worth stopping or overnighting in Triberg too, it's slap bang in the centre
