Any ideas on the best way to mount a TomTom 530 on a GSA that already has a BMW Navigator II on the handlebar cross brace..?

Another question (apologies if this is in the wrong section):-

I have the BMW Navigator II running into an Autocom - with a wired headset.

What would be the best way to integrate the TomTom into this setup..?

I'm new to this sat nav on bikes thing, so thanks for any pointers! :thumb2

Take your pick:

MountGuys

Lets translate that into something one can understand

To fit onto a 12GSA .. on LHS of clocks (oval rail) with RAM-B-149ZA short arm mount and RAM-HOL-TO6 cradle.

To power the device look at Q~Power Lite cables, such 03 version bare wire and 02 has BMW plug and detailed in the forum or CLC04B http://www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod4216.html both intended for bike use with hightemp rated Vreg chipset (125 deg C).

Apologies if I didn't make is clear, but this is for an 1150GSA.

I should probably repost it another section, 'cos it's a fairly broad question I'm asking...

Thanks for any more info, and thanks to those who have posted :thumb2

.. still sticking with my earlier and for 1150GSA then use standard or short arm mount, so RAM-B-149Z or 149ZA. These u-bolt mount kits have 1", 1.25" and RAP-319 shim, so can fit handlebar or with shim inserted onto crossbrace bar. If you want separate mounting alongside bmw Nav

Options ?, could use the Migsel speedo bracket which has 1" ball, then short arm, diamond base and cradle.

If you're 'saying' that you want to adapt the BMW Nav bracket then if how pattern exists they use the Garmin cradle (4 hole fix pattern) and the RAM-HOL-TO6 cradle (2 hole fix pattern) and can pick up on two diagonals.
