Tomtom 550

Hi, is any one aware that tomtom will, be bringing out a new motorcycle satnav to superseed the 550.
Only asking because I was going to buy a new tomtom 550 but some sellers state that the 550 is now discontinued!,

I'm looking to maybe replace my 10 year old Rider 5 but the 550 is getting long in the tooth

I figure it's about time for a new model but can't find any information

My Rider 5 still updates,

When I connect to TomTom home it tells me map updates are no longer supported but if you read the small print it says that you can no longer buy new maps but that updates will still work

tricky bastards!

I also get a message to enter my email address for an exclusive upgrade offer, the resulting email just takes me to their web site but no reduction or special offer what so ever

Unfortunately i cannot test that now, i gave it away and bought the Nav6

You’ve got me thinking now, I’m going to see if there’s an update today.

Id be interested to know if they are bringing out a new one.
Garmin have brought out the Zumo XT & XT2 in the time the rider 550 has been out.
I’d be interested to upgrade as I’m getting fed up of all the bugs with the XT

FYI. I’ve just updated my tomtom 550 with 2 updates. Poi file and a voice file. All done with no problem. It’s also just offered me a map update which it’s doing now.

Regularly update mine no problems. Would be surprised if they brought out a new one with people moving away from dedicated satnav's.
I would have one if a new one was brought out.

My 550 completed it’s map update today with no problems
