My new to me bike had a Tom Tom sat nav fitted previously. The power cable is still there but not the mount. That's fine as I've always used Garmin units. The PO suggested I snipped off the fitting at the end of the cable and simply solder it to the Garmin cable. That could work. Then it occurred that a neater solution might be to obtain the other bit of the Tom Tum cable with the other half of the connector and solder the non connector end to the Garmin cable.
