TomTomGO 300 @ £369.95 --> Rider @ £???

Quite interesting; Expansys have just announced that they have the TomTomGO 300 in stock and are selling it for £370 - AFAIK it's got simiar features as the up n coming TomTomRIDER... which to means that the price could be quite competitive.

I'v already seen it advertised on the web for £599.

DOn' forget it's a limited market, special edition, wterpoofed item.

Bound to be expensive. And anyway, they'll want to pitch it at the 2610 market and not the Quest.

Remember they are going to price in a Bluetooth headset on the Rider. Also I think the 5 hour battery life could be a niggle.
Anyway, I'm still hoping to test out a loaner in early June.

First Prototype delivered

The design company received the first production prototype Tom Tom Rider yesterday. Not sure if it works.

I should have more information by the end of the month.
