I've had my 'Blade, ZRX 1100, GSXR 1000 and now my 1150 GS rider&passenger all done by Tony & they've all been exactly what I wanted. Can't speak highly enough of the man.

I had my dakar seat re covered after it got ripped, think it was in the region of £40, i went to him to get it done. That included removing the old cover, fitting a new piece of foam to smooth out the old foam and a new cover. By the time he'd finish you could not tell it was a new cover.
Mine are at his workshop now, probably would be back by now if people did not keep asking for him to turn 1150 crap around in 24 hours

Yes he does Tim - he was working on some classic car seats when I was there on saturday

Did you go into the workshop of the guy next door?....The old bloke with the tattiest, roughest, falling "apartest", dirtiest Boxer you will ever see, with Watsonian sidecar? Go in the workshop and enter a magical World of one man who builds/repairs/modifies/tunes BMW engines. It's a little Paradise I tell ya.

I sent my seat off to him today, I'll post pics when it comes back (good or bad

As the rider seat was a low one and I want a modification to standard seat I asked if he had a stock one to compare with and then build up based on that. He told me he has about ten GS seats there at the moment!
I have told him I would trust his expertise and he has promised two sumptuous seats by the end of the week.

I've still not had my seat back from him yet so hopefully he was practising on yours first
Get some pics up so we can jusdge from teh comfort of our chairs ;-)
Got out for a quick ride around and the seat is certainly a lot comfier, it has much more padding towards the back of the riders seat where the stock one has virtually none, should be much better on long runs.
Only being about 1 inch higher, with a softer feel I was expecting the height to feel pretty standard once on-board, I noticed the extra height throwing a leg over for the first time, and surprisingly when riding it feels like your perched a lot higher than the standard seat - almost as much as the difference between low and high settings, so now I would guess the low position would be the same as the high one was, I actually prefered this extra height - perhaps I should test an Adventure
