Too much info

I use a nuvi 2595 car sat nav which is good enough, however if I just want to find a town /village it always asks for the street / house number ,is there any setting that I need to adjust

Is there a ‘end search’ or ‘enter destination’ option?

It just asks for place name / postcode

Choose "City" rather than Address on a Garmin.
