Took SWMBO or a ride today

What an ace day out, with the little guy and a business to run we don't get out on the bike together much so today with rossi in school we went for a blast. out at 10.30 over to ludlow and the crossgates for beaky then down the elan valley and onto the mountain rode to aberwhatsitcalled. stopped at devils bridge "never been there before" and then icecream by the sea. 260 miles, nice weather, great roads. best day out for ages.
best bit of the day was having a red kite flying overhead at 30mph about 20feet up, he stayed with us for about half a mile, just wish i could have got a photo, a truelly awsome moment.
anyway here' a few pics. mrs wouldn't take off her lid as she doesn't want to be seem on this site. "she's heard strange things about you guys"

Great weather for a ride today

Its been a couple of years since my other half has been on the back of a bike.. we went out on Sunday... ended up at Glossop. A nice gentle way of getting her back out

She also didn't want to take off her helmet.. but it may be because she hadnt worked out the fastener yet

Hi Sycomoto out with my wife and daughter today and guess what - my daughter Alex was on the back of your mate Dan on a quick tour of Northern Ireland! He showed us the photos of Ross (or should I say Rossi) on the forum this morning because he thought he was really cute! What a small world.

It is a small world and as a Tosser its a friendly one. saw the photos of your ride outs on the irish link, looks like a very nice place to ride, Cant believe you brought out Miss Ireland for the occasion, My Brother Flipfly is now trying to plan something cos he likes your idea of hospitality

no probs chap, good to meet yer, now we just need to get you out in the dirt. Your ADV is just WAAAAY TOOOOOOO Clean. don't worry about dropping it as it just adds value to the thing. In london they pay top dollar for dirty scratched gs's. Glad the suspension mods worked, now just a case for fine tuning. Just remember with the misses on the back wind up the preload and give the bottom ajuster a full 360 clockwise. then return for solo use.

My sentiments exactly, GS............ means Get Scratched and it adds value

Do you offroad with misses on back Me and mine always looking for other GSERs to go ride with and do some off roading................ lots of two up tracks I know Maybe we should do a misses 2 up day out ..instead of keeping em locked indoors

she's happy enough on the road but don't know how she'd feel about pillion on the loose stuff. if you want though mr and mrs flipfly could come out for an offroad trip as mrs flip has her own bike (transalp).
we could also bring dirtydog cos he's a girl
