the thing with a pin has a slot at the side of the tool area, the bigger plastic thing was floating so not too sure if it belongs in there

The floaty bit is used to remove your stick coils if you have a twin spark but someone else will know about the pin part :D

the top picture is a tool that hooks over the outboard part of the plug that fits over the spark plug, so that the HT cable can be removed from the spark plug.

The lower picture is an item that fits in to the plastic lid of the tool box and engages in to the lock. If you have the pillion seat pad installed, the metal loop that comes from that seat engages in to the lock. When the pillion seat is not installed, slide this piece in to the lid and it holds the lid in place. Note that this fits only one way.

would never have guessed either

I assume the tool box lid one is to stop someone poking a screwdriver in and unlatching the front seat but yet lock the tool kit in also. good idea

thanks very much
