Afternoon folks,
Anyone fitted one of these tool boxes

A pal has his on his GSA 2010 but my converted GS to GSA has vario panniers so not got the metal brackets a GSA has to fit it too.

So I bought a mounting kit https://ebay.us/m/zMEaXc

I’m wondering if anyone has done this and got any guidance on how and where you attached brackets?

Any thoughts??
 
The kit in the eBay link looks like something for bicycle panniers. Blackburn definitely make bicycle pannier frames.

Sorry, should have said, already have one it was about £30 delivered. Bloody technology trying to be too clever, when you copy the link it adds the stupid part in about ‘I’ve found this’ bloody thing. I just wanted to share something similar to what we’d bought. My pal has one same on his same year but a GSA however, he has the metal panniers and not the varios like mine.

The question is if anyone had already fitted one similar but with a vario setup.

I don't see why not. It's mirrored side to side.

I don't know if there's a difference between the LC and TC Vario mounts. I'd only see the holes potentially being the only issue - which would be easily rectified.
 
Had a look tonight and not a hope it’s fitting with the vario panniers left or right.

I could get it to fit but either wheel would fowl or pannier wouldn’t fit.

Might look at mounting on the bottom of the pannier on its side but would have been nice to have had it without having panniers for those Sunday runs.
