Anybody got a long-reach T40 Torx bit I could borrow.

I'm in the process of replacing my rear disc and my Halfords sockets are too thick around the "Drive" part to get a straight shot at the disc bolts....

I've got the disc off but mullahed one bolt head in the process (New bolt set ordered) but to torque them up properly I need a bit with the key bit at least twice as long:

I need a feckin' drink while I plan how "Mr.Torx" should be killed... :spitfire

Are ye back from Darlo or are you back there tomorrow? I've got one you could borrow which I could get to you if you are but I'm bit of a trek from Northumberland.
Edit thatwas @kin dumb, course you're back

Normal torx bit in a long reach / double depth socket? Probably 1/4 or 5/16 socket I'd guess

Good plan but unfortunately the Torx bit and socket are one and the same.

No prob's. If I can't get one off someone local I'll just have to buy one

Will do if nobody's got one handy...

Just ordered the new bolts, so they'll be here Saturday at the earliest... :(
