Anyone else had any luck with getting a full tool kit recently. It’s not the money but it’s the principal a £10,000 bike should come with a decent tool kit. Went out with three guys on demonstrators the other day, and a garmin bracket came loose making the bike difficult to ride with it spinning all over the place, no one except me in my full tool kit had any tool suitable, perhaps we should have called BMW assist.

Any advice, new bike arrives this week, BMW usual response to my requests.

I managed to get a spare key but bought some extra tools myself as I was not getting anywhere with dealer. BMW might save a few pounds but they are pi**ing off a lot of buyers

I asked for (and got) the additional toolkit - told them I was mechanically competent and didn't expect to have to wait for ages for BMW Assist to come out and do a simple repair that I could have done myself had I been in posession of the correct tools. No argument or resistance from the dealer - Sawbridgeworth Motorcycles in Hertford. Also asked for and received a second key (a real one, not a plastic immitation). No charge for either.

I did request these things when I ordered the bike, though, not when I went to collect it.
