My new panniers are much better than the bread ins I tried to get on without but they are rubbish!!
My Nolans are narrower lighter and easy to use But
Have less capacity
So can't just chuck air pump tyre repair kit etc in as well as cloths!!
Tool tube should fit in between frame and pannier frame but are they robust and are there different diameters?

Anyone used them care to comment??

I have two that have moved from bike to bike. Tbh I don't use them that much day to day but they are always on the bike. On a trip they usually have the camping stove fuel bottle in one and a bottle of whisky/wine/beer in the other. It's what they are best suited for ;)

Thats interesting, could be a useful addition to alow me to take my own bottle of JD on trips!

So the diameter is about that of a bottle of scotch, is that fixed are do they have different sizings?

Tool tubes do come in different sizes but the most common ones are just the right size for a standard wine bottle. So whisky in the same shape bottles are fine, but odd shaped bottles like Jura don't go in.
