PS:....have you lot noticed it has a drain hole in the bottom rear fix area.
Thought it may help those who wish to mount it upside down sort of...
Plug it first..

Craig,
Just realised I gave you my home address with my office post code! :blast
I think that might delay it slightly.
Will let you know when it does arrive.

so any pictures of these mounted on the bike and what people can get in it???

Hi

I'm also keen to see pictures of mounted tubes as I can't see an a place where it will fit (admittedly I have only had 5 mins or so to think about it with the bike in front of me). The obvious place seems to be on the opposite side to the exhaust, but I have a GS with Varios (as opposed to a GSA with the offset pannier mount). The tube could be attached to the diagonal frame member here, but it looks like it will hit the tyre or foul the pannier depending on where it's put.

Any other mounting tips for a GS / Vario combination?

cheers
Darren

Mounting !

I have mounted my tool tube on the inside of my trax pannier rack, r h side. I have bolted it on by drilling holes in the rack ( dont think it has weakened that much! ) If mounting with bolts you will need a very thin headed bolt, ( i cut the top off a bolt and welded a washer on mine) or the lid will not close.
Beware if you are mounting on trax pannier rack that the rack will engage on the bobbins bearing in mind it engages at an angle rather than slipping straight down.
Once i get my camera back i will post some pics .

Yo my tube type peeps. Yeah whatever.

Anyway, I`ve gone a bit mental and just placed an order to import another 100.

Should get them in a couple of weeks.

However, please, please, please don`t sign up under this thread. For my own sanity I`ll set up a quick webpage which folk can oder and pay directly from.

As I say the tubes will get here in a couple of weeks so watch this space. I`ll see if I can create some kind of e-mail subscription thing which anyone interested can sign up to and be alerted when the toobs arrive etc.

Cheers

Is anybody in contact with PaulS ?

I`ve only got two left and both were allocated, 1 to Digger who I beleive is on route to Bulgaria, so I`ll keep his back, and 1 for Paul S. I`ve sent a couple of PM`s to Paul but nil respondez. If you`re out there give me a shout.

Craig

1 tube fixed

Not the best place or the best fittings used. I am short of time before I go away and nobody could guarantee me delivery before the weekend of the 20/22mm rubber lined metal P-Clips so had to use plastic ones...not sure if they will take the KTM's vibes but hope so for this trip at leased.
