No pics just yet, but on my 1150GSA I made up an ali mounting plate that runs behind my nearside pannier frame, (where the Remus silencer would go if I didn't have a Stubby fitted !) The Tool tube runs roughly parallel to the pannier frame, facing to the rear.
I'll try to get a couple of photos done, when I get a few minutes.
Took my humble brain quite some time and looking at all different types of brackets etc, but finally used some plastic electrical conduit/cable fixings (saddle fixings ???), and they more or less fit the 19mm diameter of the TT pannier frames.
All would be much clearer with a picture, I know.
