I have just bought a GSA SE and discovered the toolkit contains less than half of what you use to get.
Had a winge at my dealer who put me on to BMW customer services GB and let them have it.
The upshot is if you winge at your dealer they'll get you a proper toolkit and can put it through as a warrenty claim.

I can understand why they have cut down on the toolkits. On the rare occasions I work on the bike I don't usually touch the toolkit - reserved only for breakdowns on the road ( which I don't seem to have had in 30 years !) but use my 'own' tools. Thus I part exchange with a brand new toolkit. Used to be the same (happily) for the first aid kit, now also discontinued. I wish they HAD kept the cable lock (as stowed under the tank of my 1978 R100RS) - something we are OBLIGED to use. Best wishes, Brian
