Hi,
I am looking for a small leather type bag/box thing that fits on the rack on the GS1150 , i saw one in a picture but cant find it or know where to get it.
it was about the size of the rack and big enough to hold a tyre inflator bottle thing and maybe a bit extra,.
anyone got one (& pics) and where i can get one
cheers
John

Are you confusing it with the stylish bmw rear leather box made for the airhead GS.

Even though I am not a "thingie" expert, there was a small bag that was designed to fit a K1200RS rear rack that might have included leather. It was an engineering marvel and was equally expensive and also still a soft bag. Alternatively if leather is your bag, look not further than an extensive range from Harley...:ymca

Did you happen to have seen this one on the back of my Africa Twin :augie

We have them in our webshop :thumb

Now before anyone starts going off on one at the price :blagblah - these are top quality, hand stitched saddle leather, made from one complete flank hide with a reinforced double thickness base, velcro closures, twin straps and brass buckles - not your cheap flimsy leather that will crease and crack over time.

They are available in either London Tan (as in the picture) or Black.

The size of this one is approximately 8" front to back, 9" side to side, and 5" high - but as each one is hand made to order you can specify your own custom size - (as long as it can be cut from a single flank hide......)

We've sold quite a few and the feedback is that the quality has exceeded expectation every time :D

If you want to discuss further. either send me an email or PM me :thumb

Alternatively - you can buy them for a lot more money from Riky Cross but the quality is far below the ones we have made.

Yup – I can definitely vouch for the quality on these………seeing is believing.

To add to what Jonathan has already put, these are 100% handcrafted by a Master saddler, and lovingly polished by the jodhpur clad buttocks of New Forest maiden :drool:drool:drool……………or if you’re north of Winchester, they can be polished by the sweaty thighs of an Essex chavette:green gri:green gri – so if you want a genteel finish, speak to Jonathan – or if you want real world patina, come and see me.:D:D:D:D:D:ChrisKelly

cheers for the relpy's :beerjug::beerjug:

thinking about it it was a bit smaller than the leather pic one and could have been made of textile, was black & had a zip (I Think) -- maybe a touratwat addition ??
cheers

Top box thingy

Hi
I have one, it is a touratech and did the job beutifully, if it were not for the fact that 2 up we get the lids in the topbox I would still use it today, but there is no easy way to adapt it to fit on the mounting plate of the top box.

Takes a bloody great chain, disk lock visor wipes etc etc with ease, and when expanded 3 bottles of wine and a bag of spuds.. what more can you want for.
