Top box compatibility

I’m selling the top box off my 2010 GS and I’ve been asked whether it will fit a 2017 model which already has the Vario brackets in place.

Frankly I’ve no idea but can anyone advise me?

Dick I have a Vario top box on my F700GS it has this legend on the lid . Hope this helps.

No, pre LC top boxes won't fit on an LC.
