Top Box fitting?

If I were to get a Vario topbox, would it need an adapter to fit on the 2020 1250GS? Or does it fit direct to the rack?

you need the plastic base plate,if i remember they are about 90 quid

Thanks for the quick reply chaps, I get it now, the existing luggage plate needs removing and replacing with the new base plate.

Still deciding on which box to get, this was part of the process. I already have the Vario panniers.

I have the BMW Vario box and think it's a good design being expandable, so recommend it.

Cheaper to get a used one from Motorworks

Their used stock part number LUO23743 (which equates to BMW part number 77448523742) and costs £48 plus a few quid for postage. They can also supply new if required and service is excellent

just removing my vario top box and adapter plate that came with my bike in September, i already have the 47 and 55 givi boxes so just waiting on the original luggage plate to arrive in the next week, then mine will be up for sale in the bike related stuff if interested
