Top box for 1150GS

I am looking for (amongst other toyz) a half decent --- AFFORDABLE ! top box for my GS. Saw one in Hein Gericke that seemed to do the trick but bloke in shop said they had been recalled cos of a lock problem ?????? Anyway what would you recommend for everyday light use and the ocassional blat to Scotland and France? I have panniers but don't want to use them for everyday use (cos I cant blooming filter !!!! )

Oh yes and another thing --- Has anyone tried the Halfords Ice Bue Driving Lamps. Do they wire up to the main beam easily? YES I am a novice electrician -- too busy riding the damn things !

I'm a GIVI fan.

Not sure if my V46 could be described as affordable, but I think it is good value because it is very easy to use, clips on and off the bike quickly, stays dry and carries plenty. Also still looks like new.

Affordable topbox

I've got a Hein Gericke one in the garage, it's the model before the one with lock problems (I know i tried to get a refund on it !). I used it for a trip around Ireland and found it entirely serviceable, I just hate top-boxes ! Yours for £35.00 including 'Universal' fitting plate of course.
