Top box issues

OK i have only recently brought a R1150GS. Brought on a bit of a whime, i have been sorting all the odd little jobs that needed to be done on the bike and have come to a very small little job that need to be done!!!!

The top box has some strapps to stop it opening to far but i can not see where these straps go no sign of a popper any where in side the top box.

The top box is BMW touring and the straps are connected to the lid and there seems to be a press stud on the other end but i can not see where these go.

I might just be thick and blind or the poppers are missing ?????

find the connectors on the inside left and right sides a couple of inches from the hinge side...if that makes sense....

Are these press studs easily visable as i think i am going blind as i can not see them??
