Top box lid rack

Does anyone manufacture a rack to fit to a vario top box lid?

I had one years ago on a K100RT, and found it very useful.

Have checked the usual: Touratech, Wunderlich, and BMW's own web site.

Are the new lids not strong enough? I only intend to put light items on, perhaps a couple of Thermarest mats, or similar.

A Givi one should fit. They do a couple of different sizes I think.

Hepco & Becker do ones for some of theirs too.

Have you thought about some u bolts through the top, as a cheaper option?
