Top box pad...

So, after the first few hundred miles of gs ownership, the wife reckons the Vario topbox is too uncomfortable.

With some longer trips planned, looking into a pad/backrest/? When ebay and the others have allsorts for the Alu boxes, limited for the Vario.

Anyone tried one of these?

They look identical to the BMW original ones. You’ll have to drill the top box to fit the top part. Very easy to do and missenden flyer has a video on how on YouTube.

If she’s anything like my wife. Back protector and padded cushion are required. Heated seat would be nice but I haven’t told her that’s an option for bikes yet

Just to close thiss one off, yes these were identical to the BMW item, and came with screws etc. All fitted perfectly, and according to the wife is now comfortable!
