Top box question / panniers to fit BMW adv frames.

Will a top box off a 10 plate twin cam fit on a newer Water cooled variant? I know the panniers don't. I hate giving BMW extra money if I don't have to.

Are there any other options for ally luggage that will fit genuine BMW Adventure frames or is it cheaper to stick with OEM ones.

Pics of alternatives if any of you have gone down this route would be much appreciated.

Top box different mount, so no it won't fit. Plenty of other options available including Givi, Kappa, etc but will probably need mounting plate/frames to match.
