Top box year ?

Hi all.
What year can I go back to for a vario top box that will fit my new GS ?
Looking at used ones but unsure what will fit.

i transferred the all the boxes from a first edition 1200 LC to my new 1250, the fittings are the same. Not sure about the aircooled one though but I do know the other boxes won't fit as the exhaust has changed sides from the old air-cooled.
